Opening new destinations
Article Abstract:
Indonesia offers tourists a wealth of tourist attractions, ranging from ancient temples to beautiful beaches and volcanoes. However, tourists have yet to discover this region, blessed with 17,000 islands. One problem that Indonesia is having in attracting tourism is the limited amount of money that is available to market the islands. Tourism, however, is increasing 7% during 1997, compared to 1996 figures.
