A videogame manufacturer relies on Mafia
Article Abstract:
Illusion Softworks (IS) (Prague, Czech Republic), videogame manufacturer, is preparing for quick expansion in 2001. The firm expects the greatest success from the second instalment of the game Hidden & Dangerous and the action game Mafia. Both the games are among the 10 most expected games in western Europe in 2001. IS's hitherto greatest success was the war game Hidden & Dangerous, 400,000 pieces of which have been sold on the global market. Nearly 100 persons are involved in game production at IS at the beginning of 2001. Their number should increase in 2001. IS has to face a lack of quality employees on the domestic market during the enlargement of its program teams. IS's largest shareholder is the investment bank Cash Reform with a 48% stake.
