A woman's place is on the board
Article Abstract:
Accountant Rebecca Ling believes that female accountants should occupy more influential positions in the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountant's Board of Governors, and on other task forces. The 43-year-old businesswoman argues that women's role in the accounting profession is very much limited and symbolic. Born in Hong Kong, Ling is responsible for making the financial decisions for more than 500 personal and corporate clients in Canada and Hong Kong.
