Time to say goodby to C and G?
Article Abstract:
Savers with the Cheltenham and Gloucester Building Society (C and G) will benefit from bonus payments after the takeover by Lloyds Bank. Savers should not feel loyalty to C and G once they have received their payment. Other savings and loan associations offer higher rates of interest. Savers could also benefit from moving to other savings and loan associations since these may be taken over and offer bonus payments. Borrowers are excluded from this payment scheme.
