Ad package offer untangles confusion, increases revenues
Article Abstract:
The Wyoming Tribune-Eagle has reported an increased advertising volume and revenues by fixing and simplifying its Christmas advertising packages. First, Tribune-Eagle decreased the number of packages to the three most in demand then added more incentives with the products such as 20% more space for advertisers if they meet the requirements. The requirements include a subscription of a minimum size of ad space in two special sections of the paper. Advertising revenue from the Christmas package increased by an overall 13% while advertisers increased their budgets by an average of 8%.

As simple as ABC?
Article Abstract:
The Orange County Register, Los Angeles Time and La Opinion, have engaged the services of PricewaterhouseCoopers to conduct an independent quarterly audit of their circulation. The newspapers resorted to the measure to ensure that their advertising customers can rely on a third-party audit regarding consumer response to newspaper advertising. The new audit also allows the newspapers to do away with the arcane and outdated regulations imposed by the Audit Bureau of Circulations.
