Adaptive strategy changes as a function of task demands: A study of car drivers
Article Abstract:
The hypothesis that the nature of the secondary task may be important is studied on car drivers. The findings suggest that drivers will be highly motivated to get route information, and route guidance (RG) systems should therefore present their information in a readily understandable format.

Predictors of whole-body vibration levels among urban taxi drivers
Article Abstract:
A study conducted to find a set of important Whole-body vibration(WBV) predictors, that can be used to produce a statistical instrument for exposure assessment in a large epidemiologic study is presented. Some WBV measures of male drivers from Taiwan are examined.

Criteria for driver impairment
Article Abstract:
The technically feasible method to monitor and diagnose driver behavior with respect to impairment with the aid of limited number of in vehicle sensors is discussed. To index driver impairment a method is also proposed which helps in avoiding accidents.
