Adding TV to the breakfast menu
Article Abstract:
TV-am has become the most successful morning television program in Great Britain despite poor initial ratings and a major three month strike by the Association of Cinematograph, Television, and Allied Technicians. TV-am has risen from turning 12 million pounds sterling in losses annually to 20 million pounds sterling profit in five years, and it currently has 75% of the audience share. Financial Director Stratis Zographos attributes the shows success to its five day a week format, familiar personalities, and short segments. Zographos believes the largest challenges facing the program in the future are breaking into other time slots, and saving money for the competitive bidding of franchises that will begin in 1992.

Time to make a move
Article Abstract:
Relocation can be stressful on employees, but it can allow companies to improve morale, increase efficiency, and improve corporate images. Lack of adequate space is the most common reason for relocating. Some companies manage the procedures associated with relocation internally, but many companies are now seeking the services of outside relocation agencies. The agencies can manage moves without disturbing the normal flow of business, and many offer guaranteed-price home sales.
