Article Abstract:
Raytheon Texas Instruments Systems, McKinney, Texas, is being awarded a $9,171,704 face value increase to a firm-fixed-price contract to provide for the following in support of the GBU-28 Enhanced Paveway III Laser Guided Bomb; 72 WGU-36B Guidance Control Units, 72 BSU-92A/B Air Foil Groups, 72 Conduit Assemblies, one lot of related data, engineering support for development of a Global Positioning System aided version of the GBU-28, and engineering services to incorporate the Hellfire II type counter-countermeasures capability. The work will be completed by January 2000. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Ogden Air Logistics Center, Hill AFB, Utah, is the contracting activity (F42630-98/C-0049, PZ0001).
