Article Abstract:
Boeing Defense and Space Group, Seattle, Washington, is being awarded a $16,239,468 face value increase to a time-and-materials contract to provide for seven Electronic Command Signals Programmer replacement kits and seven A3 circuit card kits for installation on the E-3 Airborne Warning and Control System (AWACS) aircraft. The work will be performed at Boeing's facility in Kent, Washington. The work is expected to be completed by July 2000. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Electronic Systems Center, Hanscom AFB, Mass., is the contracting activity (F19628-95/C-0241, P00129).

The Boeing Co., Long Beach, Calif. is being awarded a $24,048,079 face value increase to a time-and-materials contract to provide for the retrofits to upgrade nine avionics and mission system components on thirty-two C-17 aircraft. The work will be performed at their plant in San Antonio, Texas (60%), and other locations. The work is expected to be completed in Dec. 2000.
