Boeing Information, Seattle, Wash., is being awarded a $33,175,294 face value increase to a firm-fixed-price and time-and-material-contract to definitize upgrade of five Saudi Arabian E-3 Airborne Warning and Control System (AWACS) aircraft. The upgrade installs the CC-2ER computer, the Digital Multiplexer, and Hard Disk System, and upgrades Mission System and Ground Support Software. This effort supports foreign military sales to Saudi Arabia. Expected contract completion date is May 2000. Solicitation issue date was Sep. 12, 1997. Negotiation completion date was March 27, 1998.
