All change on campus
Article Abstract:
A college at Cambridge University, England, has successfully managed its own portfolio, without paying for professional advice, and with a low level of administrative work. The college sees stock prices as too high in 1997, and sees the end of advanced corporation tax credit payments to pension funds as likely to lead to stocks becoming less attractive to pension funds. The college has taken a number of steps which include seeking commercial real estate. Long bonds are seen as risky due to a possible rise in long-term interest rates.
