Allied Waste Industries is presently trading bottom at a 12.5-5 range. Portfolio manager William E. Simon has placed down $5 million in the company's 8.5% subordinated convertible debentures. Allied Chmn Roger Ramsey expected the move to improve the company's status in the recylcing industry. Meanwhile, the company is expecting a rebound in the quarters of Sep and Dec 1992 with recorded earnings of four cents per share in the 1st half 1992.
