The top 100 business marketers are listed. Despite the economic recession, advertising budgets are increased in 1992, with spending on business publication advertisements reaching $759 million. Companies that made it to the top 10 list include American Telephone and Telegraph Co, Hewlett-Packard Co, International Business Machines Corp, Microsoft Corp, ZEOS International Ltd, NEC Corp, Digital Equipment Corp, Intel Corp, General Motors Corp and Dell Computer Corp. Fifty-five of those listed are computer companies.

Advertising budgets for business/industrial companies are expected to increase by twenty per cent in 1984. Business press advertising is expected to increase by ten per cent. On the average companies are expecting a good year for sales in 1984 with sales increases of twenty-one per cent.
