Antibody recognition imaging by force microscopy

Researchers from Austria, Molecular Imaging Corp., and other American institutions developed a new imaging method that allows antigen-antibody recognition using force microscopy. The method is more effective in mapping biomolecules and receptor sites during biological processes.

Immunization via hair follicles by topical application of naked DNA to normal skin

Researchers from the VA Palo Health Care System and the Stanford University School of Medicine applied naked DNA in aqueous solutions to normal skin and observed its immune responses. The transfer of genes depend on normal hair follicles.
