XETRON Corp., Cincinnati, Ohio, is being awarded a $7,858,508 modification to a firm-fixed-price (with time-and-materials and contract line options)contract for 214 Frequency Hopping Multiplexers; an antenna multicoupler used as an accessory to the Single Channel Ground Airborne Radio System. Work will be performed in Cincinnati, Ohio (75%), and Tampa, Fla. (25%), and is expected to be completed by July 31, 2001. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on Nov. 24, 1995. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Communications & Electronics Command, Ft. Monmouth, N.J. (DAAB07-96-C-D007).
