Redstone Telecom
Article Abstract:
Redstone Telecom carried out a flotation to raise funds to invest in its billing services and network, in Oct 1999, on the London Stock Exchange. The company's stock price has risen by more than fourfold since the flotation. The company should benefit from increased demand from internet usage, and from the freeing up of the local loop of BT by 2001. Redstone uses intelligent switching systems and leases networks, with low net assetsof its own. The company focuses on small firms and domestic customers, offering value-added products.
