Bad luck dogs Kalamazoo
Article Abstract:
Kalamazoo Computer has been involved in a legal dispute, costing the company 2.1 million pounds sterling, and has discovered inflated profit figures. Kalamazoo is selling its security print division and the sale should eliminate borrowings. The company is well placed in its market for motor dealership software, but the market itself is not especially dynamic. A bid could help the company's stock price but could also be prevented by the Kalamazoo Trust holding 40% of the company for employees.
