Bank outsourcing's dark side
Article Abstract:
Banks are outsourcing products that are showing weak results because they make no more money from corporate lending. Moreover, outsourcing proves to be beneficial to the bank, especially in cutting costs and improving services. However, treasurers feel they are betrayed by the bank and they would consider firing the bank if the bank outsources back-office operations even if the quality of the product did not drop.
