Banking's real world order
Article Abstract:
The globalization of the economy has forced the banking industry to follow suit, but has little to offer besides offering the same expanded services in each of its international locations. An evaluation of banks in terms of their global presence, services and financial strength showed many US and European banks leading their Asian counterparts, if not in resources then in their global presence and services. The globalization strategy of banks is now considered a part of their 'relationship' strategy of following their customers in their internationalization.
