Betuwe Links Netherlands to Europe
Article Abstract:
The Betuwe infrastructure project of the Netherlands due to be finished in 2005 will link the Netherlands, Germany, Switzerland, Itay and Austria and Easter Europe, Denmark, Sweden and Norway. Nederlandse Spoorwegen/ Rail Infra Beheer, a quasi-public-private entity, will develop, maintain and operate the Betuwe Route under a special contract.
