The application of organizational development (OD) in human resources management brings to the fore the evolving abilities of OD consultants. Their tools are both unconventional and conventional. The unconventional tools are hard sciences such as mathematics, physics, computer engineering, chemistry and evolutionary biology. Although they are not experts in such fields, OD consultants utilize them since these concepts are becoming the new language of organizations.
