Business and the moral maze
Article Abstract:
Against the backdrop of the European Union's plans to construct a common framework for corporate governance within the Union, the question of whether continuing reforms will generate greater trust in the corporate sector is debated. The belief that businesses act only in their own interests is deeply entrenched and this will change only through businesses demonstrating by their policies that this is not true and not through any regulation.
