CEO compensation and performance of banks
Article Abstract:
Bank performance was shown to be positively correlated to the compensation packages offered by the bank to its chief executive officers. The benefits package offered to CEOs is correlated to the bank's size and the accumulated human capital of the CEOs, which in turn governs the banks' accounting performance proxies. Similar correlations were found between the relationship between CEO compensation and market-based performance parameters.

Multinationality, CEO compensation, and corporate governance: some empirical evidence
Article Abstract:
The linkage of CEO compensation to company performance is seen more frequently in corporations which face unpredictable business environments.
