Canada probes alleged overcharging on defense contracts

Canadian government auditors revealed that they are probing alleged overcharging by key defense contractors, just as the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) announced criminal charges are laid against three men in a previous defense billing scandal in 2006. The documents released by the Canadian government revealed that Canadian subsidiaries of Boeing and Lockheed Martin are among the companies being probed in the latest investigation.
