Cashing in on Christmas cheer
Article Abstract:
International Greetings produces wrapping paper, greeting cards, and crackers. The company deals with large retailers who use the products for private labels. Pressure from retailers is intense due to low consumer demand. Contracts are negotiated on an annual basis and the company has retained many clients more more than ten years. The company aims to expand in the US and in mainland Europe. A pre-tax profit of 2.5 million pounds sterling is forecast for 1995-1996 by Neilson Cobbold.
