Children's behaviour and the design of school furniture
Article Abstract:
There has been little attention paid to the effect of the design of school furniture on the behaviour and health of children. A study compared the effects on children's behaviour and sitting position of traditional classroom furniture with a newly designed Chair 2000. The children showed a modest improvement in behaviour and marked changes in sitting positions on the newly design furniture.

Legality of bowling actions in cricket
Article Abstract:
An ergonomic methodology was developed to study the legality of bowling actions in cricket. An electrogoniometer measured elbow angles in the sagittal plane and a force-sensing resistor indicated the instant of ball release. The methodology is highly reliable and accurate in evaluating the legitimacy of bowling actions as laid down by the International Cricket Council laws.
