Cleret squeegee
Article Abstract:
The packaging design made by Ziba Design for Hanco Corp's Cleret Bathroom Squeegee won a gold award in the packaging category of the 1992 I.D. Annual Design Review. The use of a simple transparent polyvinyl retail package to reveal the aquamarine-colored product inside was deemed particularly apt, as it evokes an underwater ambience that fits the product's application. Cleret Squeegee sales to climb by 600% after the design was applied, attesting to the effectivity of the packaging design.

Too Legit to Quit limited edition CD
Article Abstract:
M.C. Hammer's Too Legit to Quit limited edition compact disc album won a gold award in the packaging category of the 1992 I.D. Annual Design Review. The packaging was explicitly designed to convey Hammer's personality through the product. The designers were thus commended for their unhesitating use of materials in conveying their message. However, the use of aluminum and copper does not make the product environmentally correct, although it could also mean enhanced product durability.
