The UK market for mobile phone services is growing and could increase by over 100% between 1995 and 2000, according to Dataquest. Vodaphone holds a stake of 46.3% in this market. British Aerospace plans to sell a 31% holding in Orange, which could attract investors interested in this market and this drain funds from Vodaphone.
