Comparative study of two different kinds of school furniture among children
Article Abstract:
Research was conducted to examine two different kinds of furniture, namely, the ISO standard furniture for schoolchildren and Mandal's furniture, in a real-world environment and on a long-term basis. Data were taken from a sample of 263 children with ages ranging from eight to 11 years old after years of using the same furniture. Results indicate that schoolchildren have a preference for ergonomically designed furniture.
