Completing first requirement, Raytheon sends DCGS for more tests

Raytheon Co. has completed its first requirement of the Distributed Common Ground System (DCGS) contract and will be sending it to Langley Air Force Base, Virginia, to conduct additional testing and accreditation. It has successfully completed the factory acceptance test for the Air Force DCGS Block 10.2 multi-intelligence core earlier in August 2005.

Raytheon delivers key radar unit for Boeing/Navy MMA
Article Abstract:
Raytheon Co. stated in March 2006 that it has taken a step forward in the development of a radar system for the US Navy's P-8A Multi-mission Maritime Aircraft (MMA) program. As the radar-providing member of the Boeing team, Raytheon would provide two demonstration radars to Boeing during the SDD phase, which is slated to run through fiscal 2010.

Raytheon gets satellite part of Boeing AF study
Article Abstract:
The Raytheon Co. has received an Air force project subcontract and has begun a study between ground stations and satellites that would fit into vast unified global communications networks. The study resulted in a significant improvement over the battlefield communications and may end up being a multi-billion dollar project overall.
