The influence of customer knowledge process on customer response capability is examined. The analysis includes delineating the sense-and-respond process as it relates to customer needs, focusing on a marketing capability, providing deeper insights into how the knowledge process develops a marketing capability, and providing a conceptualization of customer response capability.
