Data preprocessing and data parsimony in corporate failure forecast models: evidence from Australian materials industry
Article Abstract:
Four predicting models are used to compare datasets using information from active and delisted materials industry companies in Australia. Results show that a parsimonious dataset drawn from combining a wrapper and a filter outperforms other datasets drawn from different components.

Financial covenants in the markets for public and private debt
Article Abstract:
A comparison of Australian public and private debt contracts shows that while public debt contracts are more heterogenous and less restrictive, private ones are more varied and resultantly more restrictive. Other findings are discussed.
