Desperately seeking stockbrokers
Article Abstract:
UK investors can select stockbrokers offering execution-only services, which tend to be cheaper, or they can pay more for higher levels of service. Price should not be the only factor when selecting a stockbroker since the aims of investors vary. The same investor may also want advice for certain deals, but seek an execution-only service when they have more confidence over a deal. Nominee accounts should not be used unless necessary since they may involve a loss of rights.
