Commercial Financial Services, Inc
Article Abstract:
Commercial Financial Services Inc. (CFS), a Tulsa, OK-based collection agency, gives group travel incentives as a way to reward employees for the company's success. At CFS's most recent travel incentive in May 1998, the company teamed up with Hazelwood, MO-based incentive firm Meridian Enterprises. CFS had a budget of $7 million for 7,000 people, including 3,500 CFS employees with each one bringing one guest, on a trip to Disney World in Orlando, FL. The package included air charters, hotel accommodations for three nights, passes to the Disney parks, and Disney Dollars. Now, with 4,000 employees, CFS still thinks group travel incentive would be the most effective way to foster a group feeling of accomplishment among its employees.
