Ad bust: slowpoke marketers lose billions
Article Abstract:
A study by the Center for Strategic Communication reveals that marketers advertising in trade magazines fail to take advantage of the leads their ads bring. The study, which is based on the reader service cards of 405 industrial marketers with four-color page ads, indicates that 37% of the trade advertisers did not address inquiries and 33% of replies were very late. The study stressed that marketers would have earned billions had they responded to the inquiries in time.
