Durlacher puts its faith in research
Article Abstract:
Durlacher is an investment house gaining a reputation for research which was launched on the Alternative Investment Market in 1995. The company uses consulting and research to develop investment philosophies. Durlacher may acquire a stake in a company it is helping with a stock issue, instead of asking for fees, and this was the case with Demon Internet. Durlacher is likely to be affected by trends in the stock market since obstacles to stock flotations mean that it is hampered in realizing the value of stakes held in companies that are clients.
