Building customers' traffic boosts food giant's sales

The Nabisco Foods Co performed a complete overhaul of its advertising strategy. The orientation of the company's advertisements were shifted from food distributors to operators of chain restaurants and establishments that offer food service. The philosophy is that by increasing sales of customers through programs that promote usage of Nabisco products, there will be a corresponding increase in the sales of the food company. Increased budget for advertisements has boosted profits for the division company.

Furthermore, through the responses of the readers, a database of potential buyers of the product being developed was compiled.
