Companies that have embarked on mergers need to exert much effort in convincing their employees that the decision to merge is beneficial in order to ensure the success of the new operation. Lessening the adverse effect of uncertainty during the merger planning process is important for the merger and acquisition integration team. Communicating with employees and involving them in the planning are also important.
