Emerging Pacific
Article Abstract:
Pacific Media has seen a drop in its share price and the company's performance has been affected by problems relating to The Chinese Channel (TCC). TCC was unable to locate a transponder for peak hour broadcasting, which has affected subscriber rates. TCC accounted for most of Pacific Media's losses of 3.3 million pounds sterling for 1st half 1995. Pacific media also invests in multiplex motion picture theaters in Far Eastern countries. The company does not expect to report a profit before 1997.
