Article Abstract:

The United Kingdom passed the Environmental Act of 1995 which amended the Environmental Protection Act of 1990 and has provisions regulating the new contaminated lands. However, in spite of the availability of insurance coverage and passing of regulations under the Act, there is still uncertainty as to how the authorities will implement them.
