Enzymatic synthesis of antithrombin III-binding heparan sulfate pentasaccharide
Article Abstract:
Research describes the biosynthesis of bioactive heparan sulfate oligosaccharides and enzymatic assembly of the antithrombin III-binding pentasaccharide in 6 steps. The yield is twofold higher and at least 100 times faster than that of the chemical process.
