Ericsson: sitting pretty...for now
Article Abstract:
Ericsson's performance is important for Sweden's economy and accounts for a tenth of the country's exports. The company has invested in research and development and this has brought benefits with the expansion of the market for mobile phones. Ericsson foresees continued growth in this market, though other telecoms companies have given profit warnings and are concerned about pressure on prices and slow US growth. This has led to volatility for share prices of companies such as Ericsson involved in the mobile phone market.
