Fisher-Price
Article Abstract:
Toy manufacturer Fisher-Price Corp noted an increase in insider trading in 1991 as CEO Ronald Jackson topped the list with a 15,000 share purchase. An 18% increase in domestic sales in 1991 enabled the company to regain the market share it lost to Mattel Inc and Hasbro as it embarked on a bid to market promotional and electronic toys during the late 1980s. Fisher-Price's 41% gross margin for 1991 surpassed the 39% estimate. Analysts expect earnings to triple by 1994 as the company's 75-product base gives its rivals stiff competition.
