Future Integrated puts hotels back on line
Article Abstract:
Future Integrated Telephony (FIT) saw a drop in its stock price after a profit warning, but the company looks set to break even for 1st half 1997 to 1998. FIT provides a system that allows hotels to assess charges for guests' calls. The system is being trialled by Bass and Forte, and BT has ceased to provide the service, allowing a bigger market for FIT. The company's main activity is selling, installing and maintaining telephone systems for smaller users that BT is less interested in. FIT also supplies telephony integration software, a new activity which could become profitable.
