GD, UTC see profits soar in third quarter
Article Abstract:
The General Dynamics Corporation and United Technologies Corporation, respectively the fourth and sixth largest defense contractors posted strong financial results during July through September. The General Dynamics saw earnings per share jump 21.2 percent to $1.60 in the third quarter in 2004 and the United Technologies saw its profits climb 12.6% to $1.43 a share in the quarter in 2004.
