The new provisions of the Gambling Act 2005 proposed by the United Kingdom government to reform the existing law are examined by the British Amusement Catering Trades Association (BACTA). The main goals of the regulations are to protect children and other vulnerable people, preventing gambling from being a source of crime, and determining that gambling is conducted in fair way.
