Generation of a synthetic lymphoid tissue-like organoid in mice
Article Abstract:
The generation of a tissue-engineered, lymphoid tissue-like organoid is demonstrated using the method of transplantation of stromal cells embedded in biocompatible scaffolds into the renal subcapsular space in mice. The results show that the tissue-engineered organoid was structurally similar to the secondary lymphoid organs as they included similar distinct compartmentalized B-cell and T-cell clusters.
