Conjuring up share valuations
Article Abstract:
Shares can be valued in a number of ways, and intuition can be helpful in assessing the value of shares. Dividend yields tell investors the income they would obtain from shares at prices current in the market. Price-earnings ratios reflect profitability. Net asset value reflects assets and liabilities of a company. The liabilities are taken aay from the assets and the resulting figure is divided by the total number of shares issued.
