The first few decisions biotech industrialists makes when forming a company can make a difference after a few years but some careful planning can smooth the way for later success. Founders need to keep one eye firmly on the future when deciding what type of business entity to form and how to allocate equity in that entity, the decision that can either lay a sold foundation for the business or set up a house of cards.
