Growth at any cost
Article Abstract:
The constant slow economic growth rates of Europe are a drag on the global economy when compared to the economic growth of the United States. The United States expressed its concern on the causal effects on the economic growth from the induction of 10 new members in the European Union (EU). Europeans are gearing up to meet the costs in order to improve the standards of living of its people. The proposal to replace the G7 group of industrial countries with more effective G4 consisting of the United States, China, Japan and the euro-zone would probably make the United States to offer Europe some suggestions on the methods in achieving economic growth. If the proposal sees the light, Britain's chancellor of the exchequer, Gordon Brown's determination to keep the United Kingdom out of the euro will come to a halt.
